Perl modules

elwomis

A perl-module, that grew very fast and provides very different kinds of functions now. Many of the our other scripts here are based on it — meantime we are also using it outside the Jugenzentrum network quite often. The main functions are:

• configuration files (read and save)
• templates
• variable checks (for config files)
• some valuable file and directory function

daemon

Simple perl-module to create daemon processes. The module detaches the process from the tty and sends it to background, so no more output is sent to the console. There is a function to stop a running daemon, too.
